Even the Zombies want to check out Truro’s Civic Square.

The Zombie Walk will be returning to Truro on Saturday, October 13, at 11 a.m., and walkers of all ages are invited to take part.

“I took part in the walk a couple of years ago, and it was a ton of fun,” said Angela Bailey. “Last year, people were saying they missed it, so I decided to start early and organize one.

“I hope it will be the biggest one yet.”

Angela Bailey enjoys playing the part of a zombie. This year, she hopes to see a lot of others join her for a Zombie Walk.

Bailey is an experienced zombie who plays a part in the Riverbreeze Fear Farm each year, and she’s offering her face painting services, for the hour before the walk. She also plans to have prizes to give out.

The walk will begin at the Civic Square, go around Prince Street, to Inglis Place, to the Esplanade, and back to the square.

“It’s family friendly, and people are just asked to bring a food bank donation if they want to join in,” said Bailey, whose daughters Jaylynn, 12, and Kaysey, 10, will be taking part.

“This brings people with an interest in zombies and Halloween together, and I find it pretty exciting.”
