Police in Kentville, N.S., identify body found in river as missing local man


KENTVILLE, N.S. - Police in Kentville, N.S., have confirmed that a body found in the Cornwallis River is that of a missing local man.
Police Chief Mark Mander says fingerprints were used to identify the body as 31-year-old Barry Gene Morehouse.
Morehouse was last seen on Aug. 3 in Kentville.
His body was found just outside the town limits on Friday and an autopsy was performed on Saturday.
Mander says Morehouse drowned and police do not suspect foul play.
