A team from Truro that competed in last week’s Nova Scotia Challenge is now famous in Peru.
The four members of Team 86 included Peruvian citizen Eduardo Elorrieta, who helped his colleagues at the Truro NSCC devise an answer to the challenge question of how to support new business start-ups. Their other members were Jarod Babcock from Dartmouth, Carlos Vargas from Chile and Quedma Matola from Brazil.
The Truro News story on the NS Challenge was retweeted early Thursday morning by the Peru Daily News.
The News also interviewed their rivals Team 89 on Friday, who took home the NS Challenge’s third prize and a $1,000 reward. Their members were Barb Pratt, Jenny Richard, Cory Sullivan, Renée Dulong and Avinash Pillay.
