White Rabbit Arts Festival kicks off Saturday

Red Clay Farm in Upper Economy hosts the White Rabbit Arts Festival on Saturday, Aug. 17 and Sunday, Aug. 18. With this year’s theme of Worlding, the event includes musical performances as well as immersive art and exploration involving new ecologies, societies, creatures and critters and more.

There is camping onsite, and attendees are encouraged to bring a portable radio, swimwear and a flashlight for night time activities. Families are welcome, as well as dogs on leashes, although the music goes late.

Performers include Superfluid, Ostrea Lake, Jacques Mindreau, Jo Riddles and more. Artists-in-residence include Adam Gunn, Rachel Bruch, Jennifer Yakamovich, Kitty Lovenlight and more.

Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the gate, $20 for youths 10 to 15 (at the gate) and free for kids under 10. Communal Sunday morning breakfast is included in the ticket price.
