TATAMAGOUCHE, N.S. —  Tatamagouche will be busy as Tata Fest is celebrated with a variety of events.

Activities begin Aug. 17, with Woolstock – eight days of fleece and sisterhood. Woolstock will take place at Sisterhood Fibres, 567 Sand Point Road. For more information, visit https://www.sisterhoodfibres.com/

Things are in full swing beginning Aug. 22 with activities over the next five days including musical performances, sensory chocolate experiences at Appleton’s Chocolates, an escape room at the library, a knitting competition, historical re-enactors, Zumba, food, yard sales, markets, an ice cream social and a variety show.

The festival of arts, social justice, sustainability and hospitality will conclude on Sunday, Aug. 25 when events include fun day at Nelson Memorial Park, guided bike rides and walks will take place along trails, and music at the Grace Jollymore Arts Centre.
