DEBERT, N.S. — Kilts and costumes will be seen around Debert as Kilt-ober celebrations take place.

The event will include Scottish heavy events, face painting, pumpkin carving, a bouncy castle and a barbecue. There will also be a special event called ‘pumpkins for distance.’ Activities will be held at Ventura Drive, on the old military base, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Admission is free.
