TRURO, N.S. — July 12

1 p.m. – Truro Town Hall Pride flag raising

July 13

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Open house at the Colchester Historeum

10 a.m. – noon – Family fun party at Old Road BBQ: crafts for kids, face painting, stories

11:30 a.m. – Drag queen storytime at the Truro library – Auntie Rouge will read to children

2 p.m. Pride Parade – Begins at the Colchester Legion Stadium, going up Lorne St., right onto Queen, left onto Commercial and left onto Prince, ending at the Civic Square

3-5 p.m. – Fun day at Civic Square – entertainment, face painting, bouncy houses, food

6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Dance at the Civic Square - heart-centered moving meditation to original music by Ross Unger and Co.

July 14

5-7 p.m. – Swim at Scotia Pool - $5

July 17

6:30 p.m. – Free film screening at NovelTea – film is ‘Love Simon’

July 18

6-7:30 p.m. – PFLAG workshop at the Truro library - Jo Marie Pickles will speak about her journey as a trans woman, drag performer, and Pride activist.

8-11 p.m. – All ages dance at the Truro Farmers’ Market – Free admission

July 19

8-9:30 p.m. – A Friend of Dorothy Party at Victoria Park – Party and showing of The Wizard of Oz – prizes for costumes
