TRURO, N.S. — Stuntman Ian Stewart juggled three small chainsaws before a crowd of hundreds in downtown Truro.

He put on two shows during his Aug. 23 act, his first stunt cut short when a chainsaw malfunctioned. About 15 minutes later he kept the three chainsaws airborne for about a minute.

Aiming to beat his own previous Guinness World Record, Stewart told the crowd he likely managed to tie it.

Nonetheless, his audience were thrilled with the show, which was the finale of the three-day Truro BuskerFest.

The BuskerFest shows formed part of Truro Hubfest, which featured free music and entertainment downtown to coincide with the Rock the Hub and Country Rocks the Hub music festivals.
