The 33rd annual Halifax Busker Festival is set for the Halifax waterfront, starting Wednesday, July 31 through Monday, Aug. 5.

Performers will take to multiple stages along the harbour for six days of international and local entertainment, including Fraser Hooper (U.K.), Jenny Jupiter (Canada), Lisa Lottie (Netherlands), Mike Wood (Canada), Nathaniel Rankin (Canada), Dirty Hippie Music (Canada), Reuben DotDotDot (Australia), Rhythm Works (Canada), Alakazam (Australia), Les Echappes (Canada), Flowmotion (Austria) and, last year’s People’s Choice winners, Break City Allstars (Canada).

More acts will be announced, according to a news release.

Returning to the festival for the third year is the Nova Scotia Marquee Music Stage, located at Bishop’s Landing. The venue will feature performances from award-winning Nova Scotia musicians. The performance schedule is to be announced.

The festival will stretch along the waterfront from Historic Properties and the Nathan Green Stage near the ferry terminal to Sackville Landing at the Wave and on to the Helipad Stage at Bishop’s Landing.

The East Coast Amusements Midway also returns, with carnival rides and games in the Salter Street lot.
