Hey there... it's me, Kathy: Chemo and a good laugh

My week had a lot in common with the weather …  one day it was great and warm and the next it was cold and awful.

I had my chemo and everything went well. I had to begin from scratch with the starting dose, which is given over a longer time to make sure it doesn't go in too fast. The next time, next month, it can go in faster.

However, I am having very bad headaches when I wake up in the morning. Keep your fingers crossed that they go away soon.

As far as my pain level this week, I’d say it’s a six out of 10.

If you are in need of a good laugh, you must go see the movie

Daddy's Home 2. It was really worth seeing and everyone came out of the show laughing.

On to news about my dog, Thunder. He got surgery stitches out recently and was not too happy about that procedure. However, he has been great throughout the entire process.

Christmas is sneaking up on me fast and I hate wrapping gifts. I like the gift bags better - just put the gift in, throw in some paper and fold over, tape down and done.

Tips of the week: watch out for older people. Many struggle with falling and end up with bad bone breaks and the healing process can take months.
