“VictoriUS!” a title in tribute to William Hall VC, is the first release in a series of specialty coffees launched this passed year by Just Us! Coffee Co-op of Grand Pre in celebration of African Heritage Month.
The local roasters took on another community initiative this year, Just Us! who, in a surprising partnership, took an opportunity to transport the green Arabica coffee beans using a low-carbon footprint. The co-op teamed up with Timbercoast, owners and operators of the German schooner Avontuur, a tall ship transport vessel.

Meatless burgers? Diary-free milk? Next up, bean-free coffee. All thanks to the Now Seattle company Atomo who created coffee grounds in a laboratory, without the use of coffee beans – a sustainable switch up to your morning cup of joe.
Tech for tips
An app that will allow coffee consumers to directly tip their favorite cafe's supplier or contribute to a general fund. Addressing the issues faced by coffee farmers currently battered by dismal prices, the app provides a fresh take on proposing a solution to help growers increase income.
