The Murphy Hospitality Group has opened a new restaurant in Halifax.
Gahan House Harbourfront at 1869 Upper Water Street in Historic Properties has been renovated and transformed and is now the Pickford & Black Local Seafood & Craft Beer.
The restaurant, which is now open, will feature a 135-seat dining room serving seafood, a large seasonal outdoor patio and many local craft beers.
It will also feature an oyster bar with a variety of local oysters.
About 80 staff have been hired.
