There will be some changes taking place around the Colchester Community Workshops buildings.

The foundation purchased the Halliday’s building, on Arthur Street, earlier this year, and have made preliminary plans for the space.

The New to You store will be relocated, and expanded, to the Halliday’s building once renovations have been completed. Programs that run along with the store, such as sorting and pricing donated items, will also be relocated.

The Intercolonial Café will also move to the Halliday’s building, and will be expanded.

The second floor will be converted into six apartments that will be offered to clients of the workshops.

A board room, and office space for complimentary non-profits, will be available for rent.

Other workshops programs will continue to operate out of Rotary House.
