TRURO, N.S. – East Coast Junior Lacrosse League teams will get an opportunity to shake off the winter rust next weekend during the Spring Jam event in Truro.
All five league teams will take part in the event at the Colchester Legion Stadium on April 28.
Each team will play two games in preparation of the new season.
The host Mi’kMaq Warriors meet the Halifax Hurricanes at 2 p.m. and face the Sackville Wolves for a 5:30 p.m. tilt.
Other games include New Brunswick Mavericks vs. Halifax (10:30 a.m.); Sackville vs. Dartmouth Bandits (noon); and Dartmouth vs. New Brunswick (3:30 p.m.).
The new season gets underway in early May.
