TRURO, N.S. –The Rath-Eastlink Community Centre is getting a facelift, of sorts
Workers with Halifax Sign Group were applying fresh murals on exterior windows at the facility this past week and the work is continuing. The detailing features depictions of both events that have been held there and activities that are available, including indoor rock climbing, aquatics and the fitness centre.
The work comes as the RECC is preparing to host the Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships, July 20 to 26. More than 200 swimmers will take part, with representation from approximately 25 countries. Opening ceremonies for the event are this Friday.
