BIBLE HILL, N.S. – The Dal AC Rams men’s basketball team lost its opening game in the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association on Sunday.
The Rams fell 95-58 to the visiting Mount Saint Vincent Mystics.
The Mystics jumped out to a 23-9 lead in the first quarter, before the Rams settled in and outscored MSVU 23-20 in the second quarter.
The second half, however, was all Mystics, who closed the game by outscoring their Bible Hill counterparts 29-10 in the fourth quarter.
Wesley Bennett of the Mystics scored 20 points, while Liam Mitchell added 12. Neel Amin pumped in a game-high 24 points for the Rams and Jonathan Asedri had nine.
The Rams hit the road this weekend for games against St. Thomas Saturday and UNBSJ Sunday.
