WOLFVILLE, N.S. - This past weekend the Truro Centurion age group swimmers took part in a swim meet at Acadia University.

The age categories for the meet were divided into three groups: 12-and-under; 13-and-14-year-olds; and 15-and-over.

The following swimmers finished with top-8 times in their events.

In ladies 12-and-under, Katrina Altenkirk finished first in the 1500M free; Karina Warren finished fourth in the 200M breast and eighth in the 800M free; Julia Hutt-Semple finished fourth in the 400M IM; Hayley Puddester finished seventh in the 500M free; and Jenna Gallant finished fourth in the 800M free.

In the ladies 13-and-14-year-old category, Madison Bond finished first in the 800M free, first in the 200M breast, first in the 200M IM, second in the 100M free, third in the 200M back, and fourth in the 100M free. Amy Barnhill finished second in the 800M free, fourth in the 400M IM, sixth in the 100M fly, seventh in the 100M free, and seventh in the 200M IM. Julianne Dowe finished fourth in the 100M breast, seventh in the 50M free, and eighth in the 200M back. Olivia Langley finished eighth in the 200M free.

In the ladies 15-and-over Katie Archibald finished third in the 100M breast, seventh in the 200M breast, and eighth in the 50M free.
