It was a sensational bounce-back round for the 61-year-old from Brookfield, who opened the tournament with a 15-over 85 Tuesday at 6,497-yard, par-70 Kanawaki Golf Club near Montreal.
Locke, a member of the Truro Golf Club, made a bogey on the par-4 fourth hole yesterday to make the turn at 1-over 36.
He bogeyed the par-4 14th, before birdies at the par-4 15th and par-5 16th put him back to even for the day.
With players still on the course, it’s not yet known if Locke will make the cut and play the final two rounds.
