Johnson, Dawe win super league rugby title Keltics

TRURO, N.S. – Brett Johnson and Kelton Dawe helped the Nova Scotia Keltics capture the Eastern Canadian Rugby Super League title on Sunday in Montreal.

The Truro men were members of the Keltics, who defeated the Newfoundland Rock 20-15 in extra time in the championship game.

The win capped an undefeated season for the Keltics, who went 4-0 in the regular season and downed Quebec 36-20 in a semifinal on Friday.
