There will be on-ice sessions, player orientation and meetings, as well as fitness testing at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

The Weeks organization is also looking for volunteers to fill the following positions for the upcoming season:
• Equipment manager: The equipment manager looks after a lot of the behind-the-scenes job requirements, ensuring all gear and uniforms are ready for each game and practice. Preferably, this person would be available to travel with the team on road trips and tournaments.
• A video person, who would be responsible to record (via an Ipad) all home games, and if available, road games as well.
