TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Junior Hockey League have added Stewiacke native Carson Lanceleve to their roster for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.
Lanceleve, 17, is coming off his third midget season with the Weeks Major Midgets.
He was captain of Weeks and the team’s leading scorer this season, and will provide the Bearcats with depth in the offensive zone.
The 2017 territorial pick played two seasons with the Truro major bantam team before joining the midget ranks.
Last year he led the NSMMHL in assists with 38 helpers. Over his three midget seasons he’s picked up 107 points in 106 games.
Carson’s older brother, Colby, played for the Bearcats for four seasons from 2011 to 2015.
