Former NHLers coming to Tatamagouche for charity game

TATAMAGOUCHE, N.S. – Seven-time Stanley Cup champion and Hockey Hall of Fame member Bryan Trottier headlines a list of all-star players coming to Tatamagouche for a charity hockey game.

The Slap Shots and Boot Stompin’ Tour will make a stop at the North Shore Recreation Centre on Wednesday, Oct. 17 when the Legends All-Stars face off against the North Shore All-Stars at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds are for the Tatamagouche and Area Minor Hockey Association.

Other former pros lacin’ up the blades for the game include four-time Stanley Cup winner Mike Krushelnyski, Cliff Ronning, Bryan Muir, Jocelyn Lemieux, Dave Mciiwain, Dennis Vial and Trevor Kidd.

Game tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

A 9 p.m. meet and greet kitchen party with music by Andy Bast and Aaron Pritchett will also be held. Meet and greet tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
