TRURO – The Cobequid Education Centre Cougars split a pair of games in recent high school hockey action.

Thursday, CEC blanked North Nova 3-0.

Connor Miller, Ryan Rath and Jackson Haight accounted for the Cougars’ goals with Rylan McIntyre chipping in with an assist.

Steven Jackson earned the win in net for CEC.

Friday, in a return match between the two teams at Trenton, the Cougars were edged 2-1.

Luke Smith picked up the lone tally for CEC, with assists going to Brody Schmitt and Calum MacLeod. Cody Patriquin tended net for the Cougars.

Next home action for CEC is Thursday at 6:30 p.m. when they take on Hants East Tigers at Colchester Legion Stadium.
