Bouma, Fraser lead Weeks to major midget victory

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – Lower Truro’s Callum Bouma scored once and Ben Fraser of Pleasant Valley had three assists as the Weeks Major Midgets defeated the Cole Harbour Wolfpack 5-2 on Sunday in the Nova Scotia Major Midget AAA Hockey League.

Mason Hawley, Blake Kontuk, Justin Hardie and Lucas Fabijancic also scored for Weeks, who led 3-0 after one period and 5-2 after two.

Andrew MacLeod made 37 saves for the win, while his Weeks teammates had 34 shots.

On Saturday, Weeks lost 5-0 to the Valley Wildcats.
