Ryan picked up his first goal of the season in the 5-1 win over the Valley Wildcats and has now picked up a point in three of his last five games.

He’s one of the Bearcats opponents find hard to play against.

With confidence growing on the scoring side, he’s obviously completing the adjustment to the junior level.

He got his hockey start in the West Colchester Cobras Association, moving on to the Truro program at the bantam level. In his second midget season, while a “AA” Midget Bearcat, he affiliated with Newbridge Academy, seeing action at that level through to the playoffs.

Last year he suited up with the Dartmouth Steele Subaru squad which won provincials and gained exposure at Atlantics and the Telus Cup.

The 2016 Bearcat pick is a hard-working, up-and-down winger who brings a high level of physicality to his wing every shift.

Roster moves

Connor Morrison returns to the lineup after starting the season in Ontario. Noah Archibald gets off the disabled shelf to start January play. Both third-year juniors will be welcomed additions for the stretch run.

On tap

The next Bearcat home game is scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2017.
