Bearcats make Lanceleve, Hart territorial picks

TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Bearcats have made a pair of Weeks Major Midgets teammates territorial selections ahead of the Maritime Junior Hockey League draft this weekend.

Forwards Carson Lanceleve and Gavin Hart were protected by the Bearcats.

Lanceleve, five-foot-eight, 150 pounds, was fourth in team scoring with Weeks last season with 16 goals and 38 assists for 54 points in 36 games.

Hart, five-foot-six, 165 pounds, was fifth in team scoring with 19 goals and 21 assists in 36 games.

Lanceleve is from Stewiacke and Hart is from Bible Hill.

Hart was also selected by the Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL draft last weekend.

The MHL draft takes place Saturday in Miramichi.
