Truro golfers miss the cut at national junior championship

TRURO, N.S. – Truro Golf Club members Isaac MacNaughton and Owen Mullen both missed the cut at the Canadian junior boys golf championship this week.

Mullen carded a second-round 7-over-par 78 on Wednesday for a 36 hole score of 157, while MacNaughton shot 15-over 86 in the second round for a two-day total of 165.

Brady McKinley of Lacombe, Alta., leads after two rounds with a score if 3-under 139.

The tournament is being held at the 6,682-yard, par-71 Medicine Hat Golf and County Club.
