Cougars open NSSAF football season on Sunday

TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars open their Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation football League season with a road game on Sunday.

The Cougars visit the JL Illsley Judges for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Rockingstone field.

Jordan Waller, Will Mahoney and Ivan Gault have been selected captains on defence, while Michael Adams, Charles Toole and Andrew Floyd have been named offensive captains for the Cougars.

On Friday, Sept. 14, CEC travels to Dartmouth to face the Spartans at 8:30 p.m. at the Burnside field.

The Cougars play their home opener on Sunday, Sept. 23 against the Halifax West Warriors at 1 p.m. at James MacPherson Stadium.
