TRURO, N.S. – CIBC Wood Gundy shaded Michelin Ultra 6-5 in recent RECC Women’s Summer Hockey League play.
The teams were deadlocked at three following the first frame and CIBC moved ahead 5-4 by the close of the second.
Taylor Lynds paced the CIBC attack with three goals and an assist, while April MacKay had a goal and helped out on four others. Tessa Faulkner and Anita Fisher had the other CIBC goals.
For Michelin, Emily Wainwright was in on all five goals, firing the hat trick and adding two assists. Stephanie Irving and Maddy Doiron added the other Ultra goals.
