TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Centurions achieved outstanding results in the pool at the recent Novatech meet at the Wilson Aquatic Centre at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.

Novatech is the beginner swim level for competitive swimming in Nova Scotia. Swimmers in Novatech move from bronze, silver and gold levels by achieving qualifying times.

The Centurions had 19 swimmers compete in the two-day event with all Truro athletes achieving personal-best times in multiple events.

Alex Cook, Nikkii Jung and Addison Ritcey moved on to the silver level by achieving the required qualifying times, while Annie Morine and Bria Burnham moved to the gold level.

Samantha MacCallum and Paige Burry achieved their junior qualifying times, allowing them to compete at their first junior age group meet in Antigonish in June.
