CEC boys soccer team hosting Gryphons Tuesday

TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars boys’ soccer team returns to the pitch today when it hosts the North Nova Gryphons in a Northumberland region high school soccer match.

The Cougars enter the contest after playing four tough games against three of the best teams in the province over the weekend at Kings-Edgehill.

The Cougars played well in a 2-0 loss to Halifax West, before shootout losses to Parkview and Horton.

In a crossover game, the Cougars downed Riverview, N.B., 4-1.
