VALLEY, N.S. – The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring their 46th annual ‘Basketball Free Throw’ contest at Redcliff Middle School on Saturday, Jan. 20, starting at noon.
The competition is open to everyone in the Colchester County area aged 8 to 14. It’s free and all participants will receive a certificate of participation, pizza, pop and water.
The winners in each age group will receive trophies and will represent the area in the provincial championships, to be held in April at Redcliff. Age group is determined by the contestant’s age as of Jan. 1, 2018.
Entry forms are available through schools and the Colchester Basketball Association, and at the door on the day of the event.
