The Cougars will open tryouts on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Stadium 1 field in Truro.
The Cougars are two-time defending Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation champions and have been provincial semifinalists the past two seasons.
They have a combined two-year record of 26-5 and are looking to build on those successes this season.
Tryouts are open to all students, including returning grade 11 and 12 athletes as well as the grade 10 students starting at CEC in September.
Following is the remainder of the tryout schedule at the Stadium 1 field:
Tuesday, Sept. 5 – 4 to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 7 – 4 to 6 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 8 – 4 to 6 p.m.
Players must attend all tryouts.
