The Bearcats dropped their 13th straight game and remain winless this season after a 13-1 loss to the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry at Beazley Field.

The home team scored five times in the second inning and added two in the fourth to put the contest out of reach early.

Chris Head singled, doubled and drove in two runs for the Moosehead Dry, who out-hit the Bearcats 16-4 in the game that was called after seven innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

Dan Bates doubled for Truro, while Jeff Chisholm, Darson Murphy and John Chapman singled.

Truro made five errors.

The Bearcats next game is Tuesday when they host the Kentville Wildcats at the TAAC Ground for a 7:30 p.m. start.
