For the next seven days, all roads will lead to Truro Raceway, the hottest spot around for non-stop fun being dubbed July's destination for harness racing in Atlantic Canada. Atlantic Grand Circuit Week runs from July 20–27 inclusive offering an incredible festival of harness racing as well as entertainment, fun activities and special events.

The top grooms, trainers, owners, drivers and horses will be showing up this upcoming week for hair-raising, spine-tingling and breathtaking action.

Tomorrow afternoon, Truro Raceway will host the second leg of the 1 and 1/4 mile Budweiser $2500 Claiming Series along with the elimination division of the Harris Home Hardware Series for four-year-old and younger who are under $10,000 in lifetime earnings. The final of each series will be contested on Saturday, July 26.

Tomorrow afternoon, bouncy horse races are slated to take place on the track after races three and eight with special fun win and trifecta tickets available in the Grandstand Lobby from members of the Truro Harness Horse Owners Association. All proceeds will be donated to Maggie’s Place.

Sunday will also feature amateur races, open to owners and trainers who do not hold a valid Standardbred Canada Drivers License but do have extensive track experience. This knowledge combined with the desire, practical know-how and a horse will provide the opportunity for local racing enthusiasts to line up behind the starting gate and scratch off a “to-do” from their bucket list.

Post Time for tomorrow's twelve-dash card is scheduled for 1:30 pm with a qualifying session at noon.
