BERWICK - The Truro All-Star Cheerleading Company added to its quickly expanding collection of championship banners on the weekend at Deep Freeze 2014 in Berwick.

Truro teams won three of the four divisions they entered at the event, hosted by Integrity Cheer Elite.

Truro's senior 4.2 squad claimed a level championship - the highest points total of any 4.2 level team at the competition - while also winning its division.

Truro's senior 2 team and the Truro Leopards youth Level 2 squad also won their respective divisions while the Truro Cheetahs youth Level 1 team was runner-up to the Halifax-based Cheer Extreme entry.

Truro teams have been impressive this season with both senior teams having won four of the five competitions they've entered this season. Both also earned runner-up finishes in the other event. The Leopards boast three wins and a third-place finish while the Cheetahs hold four wins and a fourth-place result.

The teams are back in action Apr. 26 and 27 at the AVCC Cheer Challenge, hosted by the Annapolis Valley Cheer Club, in Berwick.

Truro is hosting the provincial championships May 3 and 4 at RECC.
