Halifax police ask for public’s help in finding armed robber

LOWER SACKVILLE - Halifax police are looking for a man involved in the armed robbery of a Lower Sackville store.

Halifax police are on the lookout for this suspect.

On Friday, March 21, a man reportedly entered Cash Traders on Sackville Drive, assaulted an employee and made off with jewelry.

A 64-year-old store employee sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a five-foot-eight, white man with reddish facial hair in his mid-20s.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, a white jacket, white hooded sweatshirt and black sneakers.

Police ask anyone with any information to contact them, or to leave an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
