HALIFAX - The Halifax Regional Police and RCMP Integrated Vice Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax man.

David Allen Doucette.

Forty-four-year-old David Allen Doucette was reported missing to police on Jan. 29. He was last seen in Halifax on Jan. 25 and was in contact online with friends on Jan. 28.

Doucette is described as a six-foot tall, 280-pound, Caucasian man, with a bald head and a goatee. He is believed to be driving a 2007 green Jeep Compass bearing Nova Scotia licence plate EJT 635.

He also has connections to the Annapolis Valley: Const. Pierre Bourdages confirmed Doucette once lived in Ellershouse, Hants County, and has relatives in Kentville, Kings County.

Police say there is no information to suggest that Doucette has met with foul play; however, police are concerned for his well-being.

Officers request that Doucette, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, calls police at 490-5016.
