At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, the Colchester RCMP responded to the robbery call.
A male entered the store, placed a bag on the table and demanded money. The store clerk was uninjured, and the lone man left empty-handed on foot.
The RCMP and North East Nova RCMP police dog unit located the man moments after the robbery at an address on the Truro Heights Road. He was arrested without incident and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5.
