Robert Wilbert Smith

It is with heavy sad hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful loving husband, father, and grandfather; Robert W. Smith on August 13, 2018 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, aged 69. Born in Eureaka to the late Richard W. Smith and the late Dorothy C. Smith (MacGillvary). Bobby enjoyed the outdoors with fishing and gardening. He worked at various jobs in Truro until saddened with a disease that crippled his muscles. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Ola (Davis), loving daughters Amy (Jamie) and Kandice (Ray), 2 amazing grandsons Jayden and Chase. Brothers Doug (Shelley) and Richard (Sharon) sisters Darlene (Robert) and Marjorie (Barry) as well as all his nieces and nephews. As per Robert's wishes, his body has been donated to Dal. Science Centre. Family and friends are invited to Salmon River Fire Hall 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturday August 25th for stories and memories. If so desired donations in Robert's memory may be made to Colchester Hospital, Cedarstone Enhanced Care Rec. Dept. or a Charity of your choice.
