Robert Russel "Bob" Ives

Ives, Robert Russel “Bob”, 75, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro, on Monday, April 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Russell and Beryl (Walker) Ives. Besides his parents he was predeceased by infant brother Harry. Bob is survived by his wife, Diane Langille; sons, Robbie (Denise), Valley, Kevin (Vicki), Middle Stewiacke; grandchildren, Mitchell (Becky), Damien, Christian (Miranda), Connor (Lynden), Baillie (Rebecca), Tanner (Lauren), Noah (Avery); 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Art (Dorothy), Truro; sister, Mary (Andy Charette), Mission BC; several nieces and nephews. Bob was with the Truro Police Service for a number of years, and retired from the NS Correction Service Truro. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Nurses and Doctors in ICU for the excellent care given to Bob. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. No visitation or service at this time by Bob’s request. Interment at a later date. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the NS Lung Association or to the Heat and Stroke Foundation of NS.
