Leroy Stanley Rushton

Rushton, LeRoy Stanley, 57, of Truro, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late William and Isabelle (Spencer) Rushton. Lee formerly worked as a flagman with Dexter Construction and later as a delivery driver for Shopper’s Drug Mart, Truro. He is survived by his wife Darlene Tothill-Rushton; son Matthew Tothill (Nobella); sisters Edith Muise, Velma Barkhouse (Doug); Ruth Zimmer (Allan), Vivian Goveria (Martin), Doris Davis (Billy), Helen Gill (Lornie); brothers, Gary (Karen), Doug (Sharon), Reg, Keith (Linda); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Shirley Rushton, Marie Levy, Gail Mattatall; his brothers Paul, Harold in infancy. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation by family request. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Donations in memory to LeRoy’s family would be appreciated.
