J.B. "Nettie" Robertson

ROBERTSON, J.B. “Nettie” - 90, Truro, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of the late Abigail & Myles Hinkley of Pleasant Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Nettie owned and operated two drive-in theatres in Nova Scotia for many years; Bel-Air in Truro and Glen-Air in Antigonish. She is survived by her only son, Capt. Glenn D. Robertson and his wife, Amber; grandson, Cade; granddaughter, Callista; sister, Mary MacNeil, Sydney; several nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful, loving mother and nana and will be dearly missed. Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
