McGill, Christopher Wayne – With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Christopher Wayne McGill, 43, on January 25, 2018. Chris was born October 12, 1974 in Colchester County. Chris was predeceased by his father, Curtis Wayne McGill, also by his nephew, Samuel Morrell and niece, Jennifer McQuarrie. He is survived by his mother, Lilla Cole, sisters - Edwina, Sherry, Sheila, Rebecca; brother, Scott and several nieces and nephews. Chris not only leaves behind his 2 daughters, Skylar and Megan and step-daughter, Kyra but also his loving partner, Amanda Shearer and their unborn child who he was so excited and happy about meeting. Chris was not only well loved by friends and family, but also by his on-line community, TLS and his co-workers at Hollis Ford who truly respected his compassionate understanding of their work and personal lives. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Douglas Street Recreation Centre. Donations in Chris’s memory may be made to the family.
