Cecil Richard Crosby

Crosby, Cecil Richard, 65 – Truro, passed away peacefully, January 29, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro he was the son of the late Lloyd and Florence (McNutt) Crosby. Cecil was a school teacher for 14 years. He had a great love of horses, research on family genealogy and taking trips with Betty to Old Orchard Beach, Maine each summer. His grandchildren were the center of his life who he deeply loved. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Elizabeth “Betty”; son, Craig; daughter, Sandria Crosby, both of Hopewell; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Danielle, Thomas, Abigail Crosby; sisters, Gloria (Norman) Johnson, Glenda Collette; brothers, Jerry (Agnes), Ken (Jeannie), David (Joyce); brother-in-law, Raymond Hamilton, Sr.; numerous nephews and nieces. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister, Rosalie Hamilton. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by his request.
