Port Medway man charged for making harassing calls to RCMP

PORT MEDWAY, NS - A 46-year-old man was arrested after more than 40 calls were made to Queens District RCMP and the RCMP Operational Communications Centre on Sept 8.

Many of the calls were threatening and harassing.

Forrester James Selig Jr., of Port Medway, was charged with one count of uttering threats and two counts of breach of probation

He appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Monday and was remanded back into custody. He is scheduled to be back in court on Oct 23 to answer to those charges and  to charges related to an August incident in Port Medway.

The investigation is continuing and other charges may be laid
