MILL COVE, NS - A 57-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a small car that had stopped to allow him to cross the road was rear-ended.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, today, a car that had stopped to let a man cross Highway 329 was hit from behind by a pickup truck. The car then struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who is from Mill Cove, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The driver of the car was taken to hospital and treated for moderate injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
