Women’s centre chosen as 10 Points of Light location


TRURO - The Central Nova Women’s Resource Centre has been chosen as a 10 Points of Light location.

Colchester County impaired driving offences.

Through Take Back The Night, the communities chosen to host a 10 Points of Light unite in demonstrations of support for survivors of sexual assault. In Truro, the centre will be hosting a Night of Healing on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. with Knickolle Pictcher, who will lead participants through a beginner’s level trauma informed yoga practice. The practice offers a safe environment to regain the sense of power and peace of mind. The event will be held again in April.

The class is open to women only, and all equipment will be provided. Space is limited, so registration is required.
