BIBLE HILL, N.S. – Public assistance is requested by the Colchester District RCMP to help identify two suspects accused of stealing from a Lower Truro retailer.

An RCMP news release said members are investigating after two males entered a business on Robie Street on April 21 around 7 p.m. and loaded up their baskets with food products, then left without paying. The products consisted of lobsters, scallops and a pork loin roast.

Anyone with information about the incident or can identify the persons of interest are asked to contact Colchester District RCMP at 902-896-5000.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award.
