Around 4:30 a.m. (April 17) Truro Police responded to a break and enter call at a residence on Queen Street. When officers arrived a vehicle was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. It failed to stop for police but a short time later it was found with five people inside.
The driver, a 26-year-old female from Millbrook, was arrested and is charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. She will appear in Truro court in May.
A 28-year-old male from Truro, who had a province-wide warrant for failing to attend court, was also arrested. He is being held pending a court appearance.
A 21-year-old female, who was also in the vehicle, is being charged for failing to abide by a probation order, and will appear in court in May.
The other two occupants were released without charge.
